Gate Lodge Wooden Climbing Frame
The largest of our Wooden Climbing frames, the Gate Lodge has no competition in terms of quality, features or price. This climbing frame was designed to give teenagers a get away area, a club-house for 12 year olds and a playhouse for the youngest ones, as well as a Climbing Frame with fantastic fun slide, swings and climbing face.
This Gate Lodge measures 1.8m x 1.8m (6ft x 6ft) with the inside of the cabin
at a size of 1.8m x 1.2m (6ft x 4ft). On the ground level is a fenced
wooden floor which has been fitted out with a wooden table 70cm (28")
long x 40cm (16") wide and two wooden benches at 90cm (35") long
x 25cm (10") wide.
Even with the table and chairs in place there is a large amount of space available for storing toys or to be used as a small sandpit. The Gate Lodge outside has a 60cm (24") wide wooden ladder which leads to the balcony and a height of 1.5m (5ft) off the ground. Wooden safety railings control entry off the balcony. You will find at one end of the balcony a fitted 3m (10ft) wavy green slide. At the other end there is access to the quality rock climbing wall.
The swing-arm is comes with two adjustable swings and fitted wooden seats which
can accommodate the Assault Course accessory on the end of the swing beam,
as well as a single climbing rope.
Even though it may have an imposing appearance, the Gate Lodge Wooden
Climbing Frame has been designed for self assembly. The floor panels are supplied
preassembled, and ready to be bolted together. The walls of this structure
are made from tongue and grooved timber that will slide into slots machined
into the uprights. This
results in a strong, stable building that will accommodates expansion in the
wood without splitting or warping. This is just one of the many design
